Welcome to The Detail Specialist (operated by Adam Garcia, d.b.a. The Detail Specialist Mobile Detailing, "we," "us," or "our"). These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of our website at thedetailspecialistaz.com, our online booking system, and all mobile auto detailing services we provide throughout West Valley Phoenix, AZ. By accessing our website, booking an appointment, or providing your phone number, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.
Acceptance of Terms
By using our website, booking a service, or communicating with us, you confirm that you are at least 18 years of age and agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you are booking on behalf of another person, you represent that you have the authority to bind them to these Terms.
Services Offered
The Detail Specialist provides professional mobile car detailing services in West Valley Phoenix, AZ, including but not limited to:
- Full Detail Packages (interior and exterior)
- Interior Detailing and Exterior Detailing
- Paint Correction
- Ceramic Coating
- Premium Add-On Services (engine bay, pet hair removal, headlight restoration, etc.)
- Maintenance Plans
All services are performed at your location (home, office, or agreed-upon address) within our service area. We reserve the right to decline service at our discretion.
Booking and Cancellation Policy
A $40 non-refundable deposit is required to secure all appointments prior to service. This deposit is deducted from the total cost of the service upon payment. If the deposit is not paid prior to service, it will be charged at the time of payment.
The deposit transfers to a rescheduled appointment. If you need to cancel or reschedule, please notify us with reasonable advance notice and we will gladly apply your deposit to another appointment time.
If your vehicle is not ready at the time of our arrival and we must wait more than 10 minutes for you to remove excess trash, personal belongings, or otherwise make the vehicle available, we reserve the right to charge a $50 convenience fee for the lost time.
If you are not home or are unable to provide access to your vehicle within a reasonable time frame, we reserve the right to charge a $100 time-slot fee for occupying a position in our schedule.
We reserve the right to alter or reschedule a booking due to weather conditions, staff illness, or equipment failure without penalty to us. We will notify you of any changes as promptly as possible.
Payment Terms
Full payment is due on the day the service is completed. You will receive reminders prior to your appointment. We accept payment via the methods listed in our booking system.
We reserve the right to require payment in full in advance if a client has canceled multiple times, as a condition for rescheduling. We reserve the right to refuse service to clients who do not respect our scheduling or payment terms.
Prices are variable depending on vehicle size, condition, and the services selected. We will always inspect your vehicle prior to beginning service and communicate any adjustments to the quoted price before proceeding.
Satisfaction Guarantee
We take pride in our work and are committed to your satisfaction. If you are not completely satisfied with any aspect of our service, please notify us before we leave your location. We will do our best to address your concerns on the spot.
We make no guarantees regarding the complete removal of the following:
- Permanent stains or deeply embedded odors from upholstery, carpet, or headliners.
- Pet hair or sand that is deeply embedded beyond what professional vacuuming can remove.
- Paint etching caused by bird droppings, bug splatter, sap, or tar that has been left on the surface for an extended period.
- Baked-on brake dust that cannot be safely removed without risk of damage.
We will always consult you on what can and cannot be achieved before beginning work.
Limitation of Liability
The Detail Specialist is not responsible for:
- Pre-existing damage to your vehicle's paint, interior, trim, or mechanical components.
- Damage to dash buttons, steering column knobs, or other components that are heavily soiled or degraded prior to service.
- Headliner sagging caused by cleaning a headliner with compromised adhesive.
- Loss of personal belongings left in the vehicle during service. Please remove all valuables before your appointment.
- Damage resulting from conditions not disclosed at the time of booking (e.g., excessive pet hair, mold, hazardous materials).
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, our total liability to you for any claim arising out of or related to our services shall not exceed the amount you paid for the specific service giving rise to the claim.
SMS Communications Terms
By providing your phone number and booking with us or submitting a form on our website, you may be asked to opt in to SMS communications from The Detail Specialist.
By opting in to SMS communications from The Detail Specialist you agree to receive text messages regarding your appointments, scheduling, and service updates. Message and data rates may apply. Message frequency varies. You may opt out at any time by replying STOP. For help reply HELP. For more information contact [email protected].
SMS messages may include appointment confirmations and reminders, service updates or rescheduling notices, promotional offers and specials, and occasional feedback requests. Message frequency varies (typically 1–6 messages per month depending on your bookings and our promotions).
To stop receiving SMS messages at any time, reply STOP to any message we send. We will confirm your opt-out within 24 hours. You can re-enroll at any time by signing up through our website.
Our SMS program is intended for users who are 18 years of age or older. By opting in or booking, you represent that you are at least 18.
No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. See our Privacy Policy for full details on how we handle your information.
Photo and Video Rights
When scheduling services with The Detail Specialist, you grant us the right to photograph and video your vehicle before, during, and after the service for use on our website, social media, and marketing materials. We will not identify you by name, include your license plate, or show your home address without your prior permission.
If you do not consent to the use of photos or videos of your vehicle for marketing purposes, please notify us before your appointment and we will accommodate your request. Media may still be used for internal training purposes.
Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to update or modify these Terms at any time. When we make material changes, we will update the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page. Your continued use of our website or services after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms. We encourage you to review these Terms periodically.
Governing Law — State of Arizona
These Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Arizona, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising out of or related to these Terms or our services shall be resolved in the courts of Maricopa County, Arizona.
